I've recently returned from Chichester, where I was a guest at the Avengers 50th Anniversary Event. It was a great weekend, with actors, directors, producers, writers and stunt arrangers delighting the 200 attendees with wonderful, behind the scenes stories. Paul O'Grady, self confessed biggest Avengers fan, was the perfect host. Honor Blackman looked and sounded amazing..as did Linda Thornson. Sadly, Diana Rigg and Joanna Lumley were unable to attend and Patrick McNee was too frail to make the journey from California, but sent a very moving video message.

I'm now getting ready to perform my solo show, PomPoms Up again, for one night only on August 31st. It will be at the Latest Musicbar in Brighton at 8:00pm. This will be part of a double bill with the wonderful, American comedienne, Lynn Ruth Miller, following after with Aging is Amazing! Should be a crazy night! See http://thelatest.co.uk/musicbar for full details.

I've been working with Bill and Ben Productions (who produced the last, 7 hour, Python TV documentory) doing silly voices for their next project. This is a 3D, animated film based on Graham Chapman's book, 'A Liar's Autobiography' due out next Spring. Can't wait to see it!

Later this year, October 28 to 31, I'll be a guest at the Bram Stoker Film Festival, now the biggest genre festival in the UK. Looks like a wild way to spend Halloween! See www.bramstokerfilmfestival.com

The 40th Python Anniversary production of Eric Idle's oratorio, Not the Messiah (He's a very naughty boy), presented at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2009 and is now out on DVD.

ALSO...the new Python book, Python Live, all about our touring days, is on the book shelves now... 'The never-before-told story of six and a half men and a girl, on the road!'

AND...the Python 40th Anniversary DVD, Almost the Truth-The Lawyer's Cut is out now too. This is the difinitive documentary with added bits you've never seen before...7 hours and 43 minutes of it! (get in lots of beer!)

The Python 40th Reunion was held at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York, when all the chaps received their well- deserved BAFTA's. I had the honour of accepting Graham Chapman's for him.
